Biography

Karun Chandhok is an Indian former racing driver and current motorsport broadcaster, commentator, and columnist. Born in Madras (present-day Chennai) in 1984, he began his racing career by winning the Indian National Racing Championship in 2000. He went on to become the Formula 2000 Asia champion in 2001 and the inaugural Formula Asia V6 by Renault champion in 2006, securing seven race wins and nine pole positions.
