Biography

Kaohly Her is the 56th mayor of Saint Paul, Minnesota, a position she has held since 2026. She is recognized as the first woman and first Asian American to serve as mayor of the city. Prior to her mayoral term, Her was a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2019 to 2025, representing District 64A as a member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL).
