Kyung-wha Kang is a distinguished South Korean diplomat and politician, currently serving as the President and CEO of the Asia Society. From 2017 to 2021, she held the historic position of the first female Foreign Minister of South Korea under President Moon Jae-in. During her tenure, she was also the first South Korean foreign minister to join the official South Korean delegation for an inter-Korean summit and to visit Pyongyang.
