Kaja Kallas is an Estonian politician and diplomat. Since 2024, she serves as the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission in the second von der Leyen Commission. Prior to these roles, she was the first female prime minister of Estonia, a position she held from 2021 until 2024.
Her political career includes leading the Estonian Reform Party from 2018 to 2024.
