Bobbi Brown is an American professional makeup artist, author, and serial entrepreneur known for her natural-tone makeup style. In 1991, she co-founded Bobbi Brown Essentials, which debuted at Bergdorf Goodman with a line of ten natural-shade lipsticks. The company quickly gained success, selling 100 units in a day when 100 in a month was expected. Estée Lauder acquired the company in 1995, retaining Brown as Chief Creative Officer of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics until her departure in 2016.
