Juliet B. Schor is an American economist and Professor of Sociology at Boston College, where she has been since 2001 and served as department chair from 2005 to 2008. Her extensive research focuses on trends in working time, consumerism, the relationship between work and family, women's issues, economic inequality, and concerns about climate change in the environment.
