Julien Chaumond is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Hugging Face, a platform dedicated to advancing machine learning, particularly in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP). He has expressed excitement about NLP's potential to be the most impactful area of AI.

Prior to co-founding Hugging Face in 2016, Chaumond served as an Advisor to the Deputy Minister for Digital Affairs at the Ministère de l’Economie et des Finances, de l’Action et des Comptes publics.
