Julien Louys is a palaeontologist and the Director of the Australian Research Centre for Human Evolution. He is also a Professor at Griffith University. His research focuses on the mammalian fossil record, where he develops and applies new methods for examining environments in deep time, known as vertebrate palaeoecology.
