Julie Bornstein is an American attorney and politician. She served on the Desert Community College Board of Trustees from 1989 until 1992. In 1992, Bornstein was elected to the California State Assembly, representing the 80th Assembly district. During her time in the Assembly, she was awarded "rookie of the year" by California Journal and was elevated to Democratic caucus chair by Speaker Willie Brown.

In the 1994 election, Bornstein lost her re-election bid to Jim Battin.
