Julian Hinz is an economist whose work centers on international economics. His research interests include trade policy, sanctions, migration, and applied econometrics. He is currently an Associate Researcher at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. Previously, Hinz held positions as an Associate Researcher at the I-Mip Institute For Macroeconomic And International Policies and as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Düsseldorf Institute For Competition Economics (Dice).
