Julia Blocher is a Project Lead and Scientist at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK). Her work also includes a role as a Visiting Scholar at Rice University's Baker Institute for Public Policy.

Beyond her academic and research roles, Blocher is the President of the International Youth Federation. She has also served as a Project Manager at the United Nations University.
