Biography

Juan Jesús Vivas Lara, born in Ceuta in 1953, is a Spanish politician. He currently serves as the Mayor-President of the autonomous city of Ceuta, a position he has held since February 8, 2001. Vivas is a member of the People's Party (PP).

Vivas earned a degree in Economic Sciences from the University of Málaga. His political career began when he became a member of the Assembly of Ceuta in 1999.
