Biography

Joshua Chad Brecheen is a Native American politician and a citizen of the Choctaw Nation. He has served as the U.S. Representative for Oklahoma's 2nd congressional district since 2023, representing the Republican Party. Prior to his federal service, Brecheen was a member of the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018.

Brecheen attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University and later Oklahoma State University, where he earned a dual degree in animal science and agricultural communications.
