Biography

Joseph Lai Chi-keong, born on December 13, 1947, is a Hong Kong educator and politician. He currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Ox Capital. Lai has a significant history in public service, having been a former chairman of the Eastern District Council and a member of the Eastern District Council from 1988 until 2021, representing Fei Tsui from 1994.

Lai's political career began with his involvement in the Hong Kong Professional Teachers' Union in the 1980s as a teacher.
