Joseph Blasi is an American economic sociologist and a J. Robert Beyster Distinguished Professor Emeritus at Rutgers University. He is also the Director Emeritus of the Institute for the Study of Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing at Rutgers, a role he held for sixteen years until June 2025. Blasi continues as a full-time faculty member and researcher at the university.
