Joseph Yong Bum Bae is an American billionaire businessman who serves as the co-chief executive officer of KKR & Co. Inc., alongside Scott Nuttall. He assumed this role in fall 2021, taking over from KKR's founders, Henry Kravis and George Roberts. Bae joined KKR in 1996 after a brief period at Goldman Sachs.

At KKR, Bae is credited with playing a critical role in the firm's expansion throughout Asia.
