Biography

Jorge Moreira da Silva is a Portuguese engineer and politician who serves as the Executive Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) and UN Under-Secretary-General since April 2023. Prior to this, he was the Director of the Development Co-operation Directorate at the OECD from 2016 to 2022, where he led the Secretariat of the Development Assistance Committee (DAC).
