Jon Ødegård Hansen serves as the SVP & Head of Energy Scenario Research at Rystad Energy. In this role, he develops models to analyze how the global energy system is evolving and how present-day choices will influence the future of energy. His work emphasizes integrating technical, economic, and policy viewpoints to enhance understanding of energy dynamics.

Prior to his current position, Hansen was an Energy Policy Advisor at the International Energy Agency (Iea).
