Biography

Jonathan Steinberg is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of WisdomTree, a role he has held since October 1988. He also served as President from August 2012 to September 2019 and as Chair of the Board from October 1988 to November 2004. Mr. Steinberg is credited with the creation and development of WisdomTree’s proprietary index methodology.

Prior to establishing WisdomTree, Mr. Steinberg worked as an analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions Department of Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc.
