Jonathan Kanter is an American lawyer and academic known for his work in antitrust law and policy. He served as Assistant Attorney General for the Antitrust Division of the U.S.
Department of Justice (DOJ) from November 2021 to December 2024, during the administration of President Joe Biden. In this role, he was closely associated with the anti-monopolistic New Brandeis movement and was considered a critic of Big Tech.
