Jonathan Freedland is a British journalist, known for his weekly column in The Guardian and his role as host of the BBC Radio 4 contemporary history series, The Long View. His career in journalism began at the Sunday Correspondent before he joined the BBC in 1990 as a news reporter for programs like The World at One and Today on Radio 4. In 1992, he was a staff writer for The Washington Post as a Laurence Stern fellow.
