John David Podesta Jr. is an American political consultant with a distinguished career in U.S. politics. He served as Chair of Hillary for America and held key positions in presidential administrations, including Counselor to President Obama and Chief of Staff to President Clinton.

Podesta is also the Founder of the Center for American Progress. His expertise extends to climate policy, having served as Senior Advisor to the President for International Climate.
