John P. Flannery is a practicing American attorney with a background as a litigator and former federal prosecutor. He has served twice on Capitol Hill as Special Counsel, first to the U.
S. Senate Judiciary Committee, appointed by Chairman Strom Thurmond, and then to the U.S.
Senate Labor Committee, appointed by Chairman Orrin Hatch. His work on the Hill included investigating efforts to subvert American foreign policy, confirmation hearings, and the influence of organized crime in labor unions.
