John Williams serves as the President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. In this capacity, he plays a key role in monetary policy and financial stability.
Prior to his current position, Williams was the President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. His career also includes experience as a Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Board and the Council of Economic Advisers. He holds a PhD in Economics, an MS in Economics, and a BA in Economics.
