John Torres is an American news medical correspondent, physician, and humanitarian. He serves as a Senior Medical Correspondent for NBC News, appearing on programs such as Today, NBC Nightly News, and NBC News Now. Torres joined NBC News and MSNBC in 2015 as a contributor, and was promoted to senior medical correspondent full-time in 2017. He remains an active emergency medical doctor.
