John "Tig" Tiegen is a USMC Sergeant (Vet) who served with the Central Intelligence Agency’s Global Response Staff. He completed over 40 overseas deployments, providing low-profile security in high-threat environments globally. On September 11, 2012, Tiegen was in Benghazi, Libya, when Islamic militants attacked the American diplomatic compound.
