Biography

John Sweeney serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Brookfield Oaktree Wealth Solutions at Brookfield Asset Management, where he oversees the wealth solutions division. Prior to his current position, he was the head of U.S. business development and sales for Brookfield Oaktree Wealth Solutions.

Before joining Brookfield, Sweeney was a managing director and head of the Americas intermediary business at Oaktree Capital. From 2014 to 2018, he also served as president of Oaktree Funds.
