John Englander is an American author, oceanographer, and a recognized expert on rising sea level and climate change. He previously served as CEO of the Cousteau Society, having been personally hired by Jacques Cousteau in 1997. Prior to that, Englander operated UNEXSO, a large pioneering scuba diving operation based in Grand Bahama, from 1972 to 1997.
