Johannes Hoffart is the CTO of the AI Unit at SAP. In this role, he leads the development and strategy for artificial intelligence within the company.

Prior to joining SAP, Hoffart led a research group specializing in Natural Language Processing and Knowledge Graphs at the Goldman Sachs AI research group. He also co-founded two startups, Ambiverse and nudge:nudge, which aimed to create machines capable of organizing knowledge using AI methods.
