Biography

Johannes Hagemann is the co-founder and CTO of Prime Intellect, an AI company based in San Francisco. He is an AI researcher who shifted his entire focus to Large Language Model (LLM) research in 2020 after encountering the Scaling Hypothesis. Prime Intellect is dedicated to building the stack for open superintelligence, from frontier agentic models to the infrastructure that enables startups, researchers, and labs to train, fine-tune, and deploy superintelligence.
