Biography

Johanna Weaver is the Co-founder and Executive Director of the Tech Policy Design Institute (TPDi), an independent, non-partisan think tank dedicated to technology policy. TPDi's mission is to shape technology for the benefit of humanity through research, education, commentary, and community building. She founded TPDi's predecessor, the Tech Policy Design Centre, at the Australian National University in 2021, where she was also appointed a Professor in the Practice of Cyber and Tech Policy.
