Biography

Joel Oskarsson is a Postdoctoral Fellow at ETH Zurich. His research centers on probabilistic machine learning methods, specifically for modeling data that exhibits spatial and temporal dependencies.

This work is primarily motivated by applications of machine learning in earth system modeling, which includes areas like weather forecasting and climate modeling. Prior to his current role, Oskarsson gained experience as a Researcher and Summer Intern at Ericsson.
