Biography

Joe Yonan is an American cookbook author and journalist, known for his work as the former Food and Dining Editor at The Washington Post and his focus on plant-based cooking. He is the author of several cookbooks published by Ten Speed Press, including "Cool Beans" and the James Beard Award-winning "Mastering the Art of Plant-Based Cooking."

Yonan began his career as a reporter for Boston media outlets before transitioning to food writing.
