Jim Whitehurst is an American business executive with a career spanning leadership roles in technology, aviation, and consulting. He currently serves as Executive Chair at Unity Technologies and is a Managing Director at Silver Lake, a private equity firm. His prior executive positions include President of IBM, CEO of Red Hat, and Chief Operating Officer at Delta Air Lines.

Whitehurst joined IBM as President following its acquisition of Red Hat in 2019, where he had served as CEO since 2007.
