Jim Yong Kim serves as Vice Chairman and Partner at Global Infrastructure Partners, a fund dedicated to investing in infrastructure projects worldwide. Prior to this, he was the 12th President of the World Bank Group from July 2012 to February 2019. During his tenure, the organization established two guiding goals: to end extreme poverty by 2030 and to boost shared prosperity for the bottom 40 percent of the population in developing countries.
