Biography

Jim Sandman is the Distinguished Professor of Practice and Public Service at the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law. He previously taught at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

He is a Senior Advisor to Frontline Justice and President Emeritus of the Legal Services Corporation, where he served as President from 2011 to 2020. The Legal Services Corporation is the United States' largest funder of civil legal aid.
