Jim Fitterling is the Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Dow Inc., a position he assumed in 2018. He is known for being the first board-appointed openly gay CEO of a Fortune 100 company, a distinction he achieved in 2019. Fitterling began his extensive career with The Dow Chemical Company in 1984, following his graduation from the University of Missouri with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
Throughout his tenure, Fitterling held numerous leadership positions across Dow and its affiliates.
