Biography

Jameel Sadik "Jim" Al-Khalili is an Iraqi-British theoretical physicist and science populariser. Born in Baghdad in 1962, he settled in the United Kingdom in 1979. He pursued his higher education at the University of Surrey, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in physics in 1986 and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in nuclear reaction theory in 1989.
