Jill Dunlop is Ontario's Minister of Emergency Preparedness and Response and has represented Simcoe North as a Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) since 2018. Raised in Coldwater, she developed an appreciation for rural Ontario and community engagement, which motivated her to pursue public service.

One year after her election as MPP, Dunlop was appointed as Associate Minister for Children and Women’s Issues.
