Jill Bolte Taylor is an American neuroanatomist, author, and public speaker. A Harvard-trained and published neuroscientist, she is widely recognized for her memoir, *My Stroke of Insight: A Brain Scientist's Personal Journey*. The book, which details her personal experience with a massive stroke and her subsequent eight-year recovery, became a New York Times bestseller, spending 63 weeks on the list.
