Dr. Jiaqi Ma serves as the Director of the FHWA/UCLA Center of Excellence on New Mobility and Automated Vehicles and the UCLA Mobility Lab. He is also a Professor at the UCLA Samueli School of Engineering and the Associate Director of the UCLA Institute of Transportation Studies. His research focuses on automated driving, mobile robotics, multimodal sensing, cooperative perception and decision-making, mobility digital twins, spatial data mining, reasoning, and simulation.
