Biography

John A. Hoffman, born January 17, 1965, is an American politician and a member of the Minnesota Senate, representing District 34. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), he also serves as the Principal Owner of Hoffman Strategic Advisors, where he offers strategic planning and policy guidance to clients across various industries.

Hoffman was first elected to the Minnesota Senate in 2012, representing the 36th district, and was reelected in 2016, 2020, and 2022.
