Dr. Jessica Murfree is the Hyde Family Foundation Fellow and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Exercise and Sport Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research investigates the effects of climate change on sport, specifically through the societal implications of climate risks and environmental disparities.
Her work has informed various organizations, including UNEP, Climate Week NYC, Climate Central, Ocean Conservancy, and jr. NBA. Dr.
