Biography

Jessica Rosenworcel is an American attorney and a prominent figure in U.S. communications policy.

She currently serves as the Chair of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), a position she was designated to permanently hold in October 2021, after serving as acting chair since January 2021. In August 2025, she is slated to become the Executive Director of the MIT Media Lab.
