Jessica Ulrika Meir, born July 1, 1977, is an American and Swedish marine biologist, physiologist, and NASA astronaut. She currently serves as an Astronaut at NASA Johnson Space Center.
Her research is centered on understanding the physiology and adaptations of vertebrates in extreme environments. Prior to her role as an astronaut, Meir worked as an Experiment Support Scientist/Increment Scientist at Lockheed Martin.
