I focus on long-term energy systems planning and evolution, with a focus on pragmatic and cost-effective change for rapid decarbonization. I work closely with policymakers, advocates, and regulators to advance how the sector adjusts to rapidly changing policies, technologies, risks, and costs. I develop and assess policies to drive decarbonization through incentive, market structures, cost internalization, and state-of-the art modeling.
