Jennifer Vanos is an Associate Professor at Arizona State University, where she co-directs the Heat Futures Laboratory and teaches in the School of Sustainability. With a PhD in atmospheric science, her research investigates the impacts of extreme heat on human bodies and cities, and how to adapt to a changing climate.
