Dr. Jen Beverly is an Associate Professor in the Department of Renewable Resources at the University of Alberta, where she has studied wildfires for over 25 years. She holds an MSc and PhD from the University of Toronto and an Honours BES from the University of Waterloo. Beverly is a fire behavior specialist, with prior experience as a helitack crew leader for the Ontario Fire Ranger program and as a federal government research scientist.
