Jelena Diakonikolas serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc).

During her studies, she was a GradSWE corporate chair, an NSF Center for Integrated Access Network (CIAN) student member, and a GreenTouch member. She also participated in Microsoft Student Partners and EESTEC during her bachelor's degree.
