Biography

Jeffrey Lieberman is the Constance and Stephen Lieber Chair in Psychiatry at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, a position he has held since 2004. He is an internationally recognized psychiatrist and scientist, specializing in schizophrenia and related psychoses. His work encompasses neurobiology, pharmacology, and the treatment of mental illness, including the development of a mental health care strategy for early detection and prevention of schizophrenia.
